Our Story

More than a coffee shop — it's a gathering place for curious minds.

Nerdbrew Coffee and Gifts was born from a simple conviction: the best moments happen when good coffee meets good company. Nestled on Avenue C in Marrero, we've built a space where the baristas know your name, the shelves hold treasures you didn't know you needed, and every visit feels like coming home.

Whether you're pulling up a chair to work, browsing our curated gift collection, or grabbing a quick pour-over to go — this is your corner of the world.

Kind Words

Loved by the neighborhood.

Don't take our word for it — hear from the people who make Nerdbrew feel like home.

"I've been coming here every morning for six months. The baristas remember my order, the coffee is consistently excellent, and the gift section always has something new to discover."

Marcus T.

Regular since 2024

"Found the most perfect holiday gifts here — locally made candles, beautiful mugs, and a coffee sampler that came in this gorgeous wooden box. Everything felt thoughtful and intentional."

Jennifer L.

Gift shopper

"As a remote worker, I needed a spot that wasn't a chain coffee shop. Nerdbrew has great Wi-Fi, the espresso drinks are legit, and there's actually room to spread out. It's my office now."
